Recently, I have been posting images from different Jewish cemeteries, and with Paravur cemetery, I have covered all the extant Jewish graveyards of Kerala. I tried my level best to include as much details of these cemeteries as possible. Well I am sure by now you might have noticed that most of these graveyards are overgrown, hard to navigate and the tombs are dilapidated and crumbling. The only exceptions are the Paradesi cemetery in Mattancherry and the new cemetery in Ernakulam, but then these sites are not open to the common public. To sum up, there are six surviving Jewish cemeteries in Kerala-one in Mattancherry, two in Ernakulam and one each in Mala, Chendamangalam and North Paravur. I also discussed about at least four extinct Jewish cemeteries-two in Mattancherry, one in Fort Kochi and a graveyard hypothesized at Kodungallur. We also saw tombstones in Paradesi synagogue courtyard which are supposed to be brought from the extinct cemeteries of Mattancherry. Headstones are also exhibited in the courtyards of North Paravur and Chendamangalam synagogues.

A few other Jewish cemeteries speculated to have existed are:
Ernakulam:
According to Prem Doss Swami Doss Yehudi (The Shingly Hebrews, 1989, p. 83), there are four Jewish cemeteries in Ernakulam city: (1) belonging to Kadavumbhagam Synagogue in a Hindu area; (2) an older one within the compound of St: Theresa’s Catholic library; (3) one near the General Hospital; and (4) a new cemetery along Pullepady Road. He also adds that the cemeteries (2) and (3) were near the Thekkumbhagam Synagogue. Now we know that (2) and (4) are the current 'Old' and 'New' Jewish cemeteries of Ernakulam. However, it is yet to confirmed if (1) and (3) are unidentified cemeteries in Ernakulam or did he get mixed up with the existing cemeteries of Ernakulam.
Palayur:
Palayur is considered to be an old Jewish settlement of Kerala. Today, there is a Christian monument erected at a place thought to be the site of a synagogue and it is still known by the name 'Jew Hill'. A Jewish burial ground is naturally expected and one such claim perhaps is put forward by the nearby famous St. Thomas church of Palayur. Inside the church proudly displayed is the foundation of an old church and they claim to have discovered the skeletal remains of a Jewish Christian priest buried facing Jerusalem! They also speculate that the church might be standing on top of an ancient Jewish cemetery.
Muttam, Cherthala
The existence of a medieval Jewish colony in Muttam is well established and the approximate location of its lost synagogue is also known from old records. It is said that remains of Jewish tombs were discovered close to the Muttam St. Mary's Forane Church (Catholic) a few decades ago, and local history enthusiasts would argue for the case of a Jewish cemetery.
Thuruthur
A small Jewish colony existed at Thuruthur island near Kodungallur in the 18th century and some speculate a Jewish cemetery existed there as well.
The list can go on, but unless we find a direct evidence to support the existence of a cemetery, we have to take these hearsay theories and far-fetched local traditions as mere speculations.
